What started out as just another ordinary day
I drove down a country road
with my cassette deck on play
A bouquet of flowers from my garden at home
looking for some family members
Where they lay all alone

I was kind of in a hurry, no this won't take too long
as I strolled through the fresh mowed grass

and as I reached that little mound
where they've laid for years
I felt the pressure in my eyes as they filled up with tears
