See, beyond the dark of night, The coming of the dawn: Jesus is the Light! To a world once held in darkness, Now behold, a Light has come. Jesus is our great Redeemer, And in Him the battle's won. Out of the dark, We are born anew. into the Light, We have come! God, our Father, loves us, And has come to lead us home. He gave His Son to save us, And on the cross His love for us is shown. To a soul that's lost and wand'ring, The Lord has come to Light the Way. As the Author of salvation, He comes to change our night to day.
