Jesus Is Waiting

1. Through this span of life we are often tempted, Searching for things with an earthly gain. I have set my goal for a home in Heaven Some day with Jesus I will reign. Chorus Jesus is waiting (waiting with a robe and crown) Happy I'll be to lay my heavy burdens down. (For I shall) meet Him in Heaven on the Judgment Day. I know that Jesus is waiting. He will guide me all the way. 2. As I travel here many days are weary, Burdens sometimes are so hard to bear. Then I see my dear Savior hanging on the cross, And I know that Jesus is waiting for my entance there. 3. Many times I pray for His love to guide me. Guide me from pitfalls and this earthly strife And then I see a light shining through the clouds of Heaven. I know that Jesus is waiting with eternal life. |
