Someday I'll Be Like Jesus
Author: Gary Harding
Ain't got much money,
not much to call my own.
I don't drive a fancey car,
I don't have a fancy home.
My friends may not be many,
my fortune may seem so few.
You may think I have it hard,
but friend, let me tell you.
Someday, I'll be like Jesus.
Someday, I'll be like Him.
In the twinkling of an eye,
my new life will all begin.
I cannot tell you how,
I cannot tell you when.
But someday, I'll be like Jesus,
someday, I'll be like Him.
Well He promised me a mansion,
plus a bright and shining crown.
Now I intend to be there,
when He passes them around.
Many don't see why I'm happy,
in this narrow way.
I just grin and look at them,
and this is what I say . . .
