The Perrys 1. Joseph went to Pilate to beg for the body. Of a man that so many despised. It was a cold still form, they carried from the mountain. To the tomb where they laid him inside. 2. When the chief priests came to Pilate saying sir, Do you remember the deceiver said, in three days He would rise. Pilate said go seal the tomb and make it sure as you can. But all his guards could not hold Him inside! 3. When the stone rolled away, the Rock of Ages walked out. The Lily bloomed in all His glory so fair. At sunrise the Son rose in victory and power And one day we'll rise to meet Him in the air. 4. We have hope not in only in this life uncertain For Jesus promised that one day we'll live again That's the hope that we cherish though this body will perish.
