When I Get Up To Heaven

1. I've heard a lot of singing, about a land beyond the blue. And a place that Jesus promised, that He'd prepare for me and you. And I've heard a lot of people talk about the land that is to come. So I sort of made a list of things I especially want to see. Chorus When I get up to heaven when I've run and won the race. And I stand up there in glory land, just a sinner saved by Grace. I want to hear those hallelujahs, and the glad hosannas ring. And the saints of every tribe and tongue, the Saviours' praises sing. 2. When the angel takes the book of life, the one our names are in. And he starts to read them over, going down the alphabet. When he finally comes to my name, reads it out so loud and clear. I'm gonna stand up on my tip toes, raise my hand and answer "Here!" |
