ulling the civilian prisoners from the militant prisoners was no easy task.  Each had to be questioned in the language they knew.  Each militant was questioned individually in the attempt of discovering their true identity.  It was distinguished early on there were several portraying someone they were not.

The Mexican would simply shrug and say 'no comprendi.'  The middle-east militants would just look at you ignorantly unable to hide their hate.  Those were soon marked for execution and separated.  The Mexicans would be flown to the border and set free under penalty of death if they were caught in America again for any reason.

Upon confirmation of the takeover of the compound, Ginger had returned with the C130 Transport and set the huge bird down on the makeshift runway.  Generators powered up, computer systems in containers which also had showers for the militia and Mexican prisoners.  Jump suits were provided for them merely for quick and unmistakenable identity.  There were only two women, both spoke Spanish fluently but did not have Spanish nor Mexican features.

The Wahhabi sect of Islam was the strictest.  They believed a woman was not her own, and, she must be owned by a man; as his absolute property - either as a child, a wife, or a concubine.  These two women were not beat up, scarred nor injured in any way although they were wearing typical American clothing.  Because of that, it was discerned they must be in pretty high standing.

Beau, just in from his dirty task of exterminating the moslem militants via firing squad, was sitting at a desk writing reports.  Each of the women, were deliberately escorted past him enroute to another round of questioning.  As each approached his desk he barely lifted his face to recognize their existance of them which rankled as the American did not respect their high standing, (or high rank on the totem pole as termed by the Americans).

Beau non-chalantly spoke Arabic "hello," and each responded in kind.  brrrrrrttttt!!  Wrong answer!

Now, you have to understand something about Beau.  He was a good old American Redneck country boy from the state of Arkansas.  All he knew was hard work, integrity, valor and what the Good Book sez.  But he had mastered four other languages besides English and Hillbilly and during his tours in the Middle East, he had learned a great deal about the customs there.

Beau held a great deal of respect for great men and held their words in high favor.  One of his heroes was Winston Churchill.  Beau could quote several portions of his speeches, and being a Marine, also knew exactly where the inspiration of the U.S. Marine Corps Hymn originated.

From the Halls of Montezuma
To the Shores of Tripoli;
We fight our country's battles
In the air, on land and sea;
First to fight for right and freedom
And to keep our honor clean;
We are proud to claim the title
of United States Marine.

Our flag's unfurled to every breeze
From dawn to setting sun;
We have fought in ev'ry clime and place
Where we could take a gun;
In the snow of far-off Northern lands
And in sunny tropic scenes;
You will find us always on the job--
The United States Marines.

Here's health to you and to our Corps
Which we are proud to serve
In many a strife we've fought for life
And never lost our nerve;
If the Army and the Navy
Ever look on Heaven's scenes;
They will find the streets are guarded
By United States Marines.

The words, the tune, the commaraderie, the love of the Marine Corps, the integrity, and the history beat in his chest and pulsed with every beat.  He knew what the shores of Tripoli meant, what had happened there and why.  It was Thomas Jefferson who had created the Navy and the Marines and sent them to the Barbary coasts to wipe off the face of the earth the religion of Islam.

He knew the vehemence of which the moslems sought to take over the whole world and the lack of respect of any person; man, woman child, in that conquest.  The words of Winston Churchill rang in his heart as he heard of each murder, of each rape and each torture right here, on his own American soil.  When it came to wiping out the devilish religion of Islam, he held the same ferocity of Jefferson and Churchill.

Churchills' words came through again at the instant he spoke to these women masquerading as Mexicans.  When each of them answered his Arabic 'hello' with the same brogue and tongue, they were marked for execution.

"How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries!  Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy.  The effects are apparent in many countries.  Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live.  A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity.

The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property — either as a child, a wife, or a concubine — must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.  Thousands become the brave and loyal soldiers of the faith: all know how to die but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it.

No stronger retrograde force exists in the world.  Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith.  It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilisation of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilisation of ancient Rome.

"Winston S. Churchill, The River War

The accompanying soldier of The Four escorting each of the women past Beau would not react in any way to what was said by the pretenders.  By discreet signal of Beau they were herded into a holding cell.  Beau would personally interview the women once more before passing final sentence.  In this case after the interviews, he had them tied to a post and rendered the order to "Fire" of the firing squad.

Another detail which had been drawn was the lot to bury the dead were finally finished with the task and were loading the equipment back on the plane.  But there was a feeling of great loss as several of their own men would be returning home in a flag draped coffin.  But where was The King?
