What is the ultimate center of the Word of God?
Is there a common scripture to which the entire Bible refers?
What is the ultimate goal of His Word, so boldly laud?
What is the one, basic statement found in the fathoms of His Word?

I can tell you the answer to that in one scripture!
but to explain may take a little doing,
but easily understood when seeking God with heart pure,
obedience is better than sacrifice, your faith He is wooing.

I'm accused of believing there's nothing else in the Word,
in all actuality, every scripture I've read, compared and heard.
But there is no denying the absolute Truth the Apostles taught,
was none other than that which Jesus bought.

of His plan to give believers eternal rest.

washing applied only by the same.
The trinity is a deadly fatal game,
sealing forever souls, salvation forbade.

Foretold by prophets of old,
as they spoke of things unknown, but bold.
Referred to by the Apostles who suffered and died,
as tell the whole world, they tried.

The scripture so rejected by hate,
the only way by which to enter the straight gate.
