What is it about "The River"
that fills most with fear?
That death, such a narrow dark sliver
darkness - which causes us tears
Into a fear of the unknown
into which we sink as a stone
through the veil we cannot see
makes our souls desire to flee
It's at the river one will come
face to face with the Creator
He our lives will carefully sum
our deeds for or from hells' crater
But if to Him we have been true
His blood will cleanse and cover you
and removes deaths' power to shiver
when you're standing At The River
