It's those short moments of time
when we're paused from daily turmoil of life
perhaps caused by something never before seen
and so for a few seconds our focus is keen

Some wonder of the world or delicious delight
the first look into the eyes of our offspring
or how a cloud catches evening sun light
or some phrase of our beloved Saviour bring

It's within those short moments of time
stopped and inconspicuous of environment
that pause when we glimpse the sublime
and wonder floods us with enlightenment

We easily see the wonder of life
even through the pain and strife
and above all at least momentarily
things of this world are secondarily

Our goal - that life beyond is the supreme
made possible by our Saviour, our Lord, our King
washed by the blood of His Sacrifice, the Lamb
stopped momentarily by still small voice of I AM.

We see the death of sin washed into Jordan
thereby reside in the Dead Sea
never against us remembered again
all made possible by the Blood Of The Lamb
