And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: Heb_9:27

God, the Creator of the heavens and the universe
stepped out on the balcony of nothing and created all: terse
without beginning or end - without reason or rhyme
set in motion the conveyance we call time
Eternity - Where God exists
God, the source of all being
and upon whom all life in every form subsists
human knowledge of understanding, at best; an uncertainty
God created all life: angels and human alike
Angels; perfect creation having no choice
human; perfect creation, with a choice and a soul
predestined to live forever on earth pure and bright
But man, in his inability to peer into the future
in lust, provoked by the accuser
Broke the beauty of eternal harmony
falling from perfect intentions and serenity
Setting into motion an entity measurable
hard to define this thing called time inexorable
A lifetime, measured in seconds, explained in years
full of mischief, misery, trouble and tears
But God, in majesty, grace, goodness and mercy
willing to take on and defeat the controversy
Robed Himself in the same flesh as His creation
determined to remove and ease the damnation
That was to cause His creations' eternal destination
of hellfire and suffering; without end; immeasurable
By his Own and pure blood, provide elimination
of the death sentence, in human mind, unfathomable
Providing for His beloved human a way of escape
simply by calling on His name, becoming His bride
Washing in His blood, removing sins stains
and the chance to forever be at His side
Death will be such a wonder to experience
pain, sorrow, heartache, loneliness of this life over
eternal rest, bliss, peace and happiness
shall never end as around His throne we hover
For you see, death is not the end; just the beginning,
of the wonder which we can't even imagine
When we lay this old flesh in the grave as an ending
to life as we know it, then bliss to begin
But for those who have strayed from His way, rejected His plan
following a vagrant plan, strange to the Biblical salvation
the point of death will begin torment never known to man
an existence without God, for eternity, man unable to imagine
No, death is not the end . . . it's just the beginning
