What is it today with church people?
a dressin' like the world, lookin' like thugs; deceitful.
No respect even for the church,
wearing their hoodies and hats, in the temple besmirch.

Why do they want to look like thugs?
hats on backwards, scrag on their mugs.
What ever happened to being an example?
being to world and the young, a clean sample.

Lord help me to always dress right and clean,
not like some hooker or druggie commonly seen.
On the streets, dirty and under the influence,
of some ghastly mind altering confluence.

But help me be a light,
to that, which is good and right.
Pointing the way straight through,
to the joy of Godly living, and You.
