In every church, of every kind
you can be certain you will find
someone who knows everybodys' business
and they're certainly not prone to quietness
To each and every one they will surely go
for the ones that will listen they do know
they have the latest gossip, action and blip
of others, and they are quick to excitedly lip
All the wrongs the victims have committed
and surely to hell, "they will be permitted"
all the while blabbing to anyone that will listen
kicking the other while they themselves glisten
Never considering the scripture that plainly quotes
"remove the beam from thine own eye, not your brothers' mote"
neither do they consider the scripture which touts
"for your own self you will give account . . ."
I suggest to those known as go-betweens
you'll do well if your brother you esteem
highly instead of kicking him down
losing your own soul and your crown
An awesome example of years ago
asked of someone of sin did they know
when approached he simply asked
"how will this help that brothers' task?"
'Tis true, we're instructed by the Word
pray for your brother, not kick him to the curb
for on that day when you stand before the Savior
tell me exactly: For Whom Will You Answer?
