We hear people exclaim
there would be no crippled or unwell
If God was kind like we claim
He would never punish one in hell,

But God is bound by His Word
"man shall surely die"
Which speaks of the flesh
so deep in sin we emesh

People within the church of today
think much the worldly way
When we speak of being 'saved'
from hell and wide road paved

But God did not save our body
the Word explains it very clear
Flesh grows old with days cloudy
but our souls can be saved from hells sear

It is appointed unto men once to die
but after this the judgment
Forever settled in heaven, His Word cannot lie
the body will die, the soul will live in bliss or torment

If not part of His bride
you'll not be by His side
Wear His Name today
and walk the narrow way

The body will reap what it has sown,
go to the grave, justice fully known
to dust by time and the worm
Gods Word again, confirmed

The soul immortal
will live on through eternity
Stepping through deaths portal
heaven or hell; decide now what you'll receive
