In my shop I have many tools,
some for sawing different woods
planers, sanders, and even steel wool
but before my first cut, I use this tool

I use a tool with which to measure
where I will cut the wooden treasure
and from this work done in my leisure
will spring a work of pure pleasure

With this tool, in my minds' eye I see
a thing of beauty, for all to behold
an item of wonder when it is complete
to complete the project - plan uphold

When I read God's Word so immense
my mortal mind is overloaded with pretense
of that city, beauty grand and wonders
can't explain; my mind His Word asunders

Walls, gates, streets of beauty untold
by human tongue, only visions unfold
splits my mortal mind does sunder
because: How Do You Measure Wonder?
