How will you react
when deaths' sentence is proclaimed?
pehaps just a moment before impact
or terminal cancer is explained

What emotions will you feel
as the fear goes from head to heel
spine prickling, hair standing, knees weakened
all bravery and strength depleted

When you realize of life you've been cheated
in shame horribly defeated
by the accuser of men
again, and again

When did you lose the will to stand
when he took houses and land
did he take you by the hand
and lead you to build on sins sand

Oh! Take back your life and yield control
to Him Who created your soul
and paid with His own blood
to wash you in crimson flood

For one day we all will partake
whether or not sin we forsake
