The great Apostle Paul once wrote
I do that which I would not
by humanly flesh my spirit broke
and by nature with sin was fraught
In my weaknes and stained life
hopeless, weary, chained by strife
I wallowed in the filth of sins rotten blight
in darkness I stumbled, void of His Light
Unable within myself to break free
destined to hang shamefully on a tree
my sins - the price I could not atone
for the price I could only groan
But Jesus took my sins - setting me free
with His blood He paid my sins steep fee
when He Himself stood in for me
Creator of the universe hanged on my tree
Through His Mercy and Grace
although I was mere dross
took my sin with loving embrace
and Nailed It To The Cross
