She stood alone with ashen face
being accused, fallen from grace
those around readily embraced
her character they profoundly debased

For this she must be punished
they so loudly published
but Him Who was without sin
stated through vocal din

Let Him without sin cast the first stone
there was only One: Him alone
as He knelt on the ground to write
revealing with their own He did smite

One by one they slank away
with their own sins they could not stay
she then heard the Savior say
"sin no more, go thy way"

I marvel at this old story of faith
seeing something so startling and great
vividly seen on His precious face
Nothing But Grace
