Time is of few days and trouble
the wise man in the Bible languished
all is vanity and reduced to rubble
as he reflected on his life and anguished
The worldl is in awe of his accomplishment
and covet his vast holdings in astonishment
but Solomon held all this worlds goods in contempt
most humans these riches to own attempt
But Solomon looked past the value of this worlds strife
and saw something far more valuable with which to end life
he saw the frailty and quickness of lifes' going
and how little we have for it in the showing
What really matters, is what we've accomplished
when we stand before God unvarnished
for the duration of lifes ultra short period
will we show a harvest of fruit or failure myriad?
The vapor of opportunity so quickly ends
when we see how this life we squandor and spend
much too late to work for Him at the last bend
so abruptly we finish this Race To The End . . .
