Sins Claim To Waive

I stand so close to the brink of the river
left of my time on earth just a sliver
a chill of doubt runs amuck up my back
as I consider the step into water so black

Have I repented and been washed of all
each sin, stain or blemish though small
will I be found worthy, or will I fall
when this body wears deaths' dark pall

Have I followed His Word to the letter
or followed that which I thought better
only to find when I'm called away
that the path I followed, was not the way

Oh!  Search the scriptures today!
call on His Name, do not delay!
for only His Name will save
your soul as you're laid in the grave

The trinity is not the way He gave
it is merely a theology of the devils learned knaves
He gave His own perfect blood for sin to stave
His Name is the only way Sins Claims To Waive
