The Great I Am

Lo! What's that I feel?
coming to ear on thunderous peal?
Is that a trumpet I hear?
no, simply His voice falling on ear

It's that quickening power
spoke of the prophets of old
the safety of the strong tower
they proclaimed loud and bold

Like fire shut up in my bones
conviction of sin in overtones
people shun His righteous call
one day on bended knee they'll fall

Millions untold feel eternal fear
as they ponder many a wasted year
living in sin and mortal vice
instead of God, taking enemy advice

Do not another moment waste
be baptized in His Name in haste!
for in that moment you think not
He'll come for those without spot

Those without crease and wrinkle free
those washed in the blood of the Lamb
called by His Name learned at His knee
His Name is Jesus, Creator - the Great I AM
