The story told for truth about the man employed as a logger.
His parents, alarmed, feared his spiritual slaughter.
The loggers, known for their wicked bashing of religion,
were a dreadful lot, known for vile verbal fission.
A very pointed question was asked by his brother:
"As a 'christian,' how did you prevent being slaughtered?"
"Oh, it wasn't hard to get along with them at all"
replied the sibling with the acquired logger drawl.
"T'wasn't hard at all," he responded with smug admission.
"They never knew I was a Christian . . . ."
