When that great day dawns
when eternity spawns
and you stand before the King
what kind of tune will you sing?
What brave opposition will you exude
how will your record be viewed
by Him Who knows all things
how will fare your heart strings?
His Word says we'll all tremble
and every knee will bow
it says all will assemble
and with wrinkled brow
Before His brightness
for there is no likeness
there'll be no politeness
each deed for a lifetime confess
Each and every second of your entire life
how you handled each trouble and strife
did you go to Him on your knees
or did you carefree do as you please?
Yes, we'll all answer the questions of years
now too late for repentence and tears
as realization hits we'll turn white
as He asks what have you done with your life?
Did you follow Him and His Word?
for those needing help were you spurred?
or from His Will and word did you turn?
was your vision and lusts badly blurred?
What good can you present in your defense?
did you even attempt slightly with good pretense?
tell me, how good of a life have you run?
with your life . . . "What Have You Done?"
